Job Description

Davison Forklift is recruiting a Field Forklift Engineer to join our team working throughout the West Midlands, Shropshire and Staffordshire. Working on a full-time, permanent basis the successful candidate will earn a competitive salary between £28,000 and £30,000 dependent upon experience. Over time is required to suit the needs of the business.

 Key responsibilities

The Field Forklift Engineer Role:

Field Forklift Engineers are key members of our team and you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our own fleet and customers equipment so wide knowledge base is essential.

Your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Repairing, servicing and conducting preventative maintenance on forklift trucks and associated equipment
  • Diagnosing faults on engine, hydraulic and electrical systems and rectifying these issues in a timely and cost effective manner to a high standard.
  • It is essential that you are able to develop and maintain excellent relationships with all customers so that the highest level of customer service can be achieved and maintained
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the essential parts stock on your company van and liaising with the parts team in order we can respond to the customer’sneeds .
  • Completing all necessary paper work for our internal systems and those of the customer.
