Need to hire specialist forklift machinery in Penkridge?

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift hire, forklift sales, and materials handling solutions to businesses in Penkridge and the surrounding Staffordshire area. Based in Shifnal, East Shropshire — approximately 20 miles from Penkridge — we deliver quality equipment and a dependable service backed by over 45 years of industry experience. We’re a well-established regional business with genuine knowledge of this part of Staffordshire, and we’re close enough to respond quickly when you need equipment without delay.

Penkridge is a large Staffordshire village sitting on the M6 corridor between Stafford and Wolverhampton, making it a natural hub for businesses that need reliable access to the wider West Midlands transport network. The area supports a strong mix of agricultural businesses across the surrounding Staffordshire countryside, alongside logistics, construction, and trade operations benefiting from the excellent motorway connectivity. Penkridge is also well known for its livestock market and equestrian activity, making it an area with particularly active demand for telehandlers, rough terrain forklifts, and tractor hire throughout the year. Davison Forklift Ltd regularly supports all of these business types across the area.

We offer a comprehensive range of forklift hire solutions including diesel, LPG (gas), and electric counterbalance forklifts. Whether you need a machine for a single day or a longer hire arrangement, every unit in our fleet is thoroughly maintained and safety-checked before dispatch from our Shifnal depot. Next-day delivery to Penkridge is available on many hire units (subject to availability), ensuring you can get the right equipment on site without unnecessary disruption to your operations.

Our hire fleet extends well beyond standard counterbalance forklifts. We supply reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, electric stackers, order pickers, side loaders, and heavy-duty machines for high-capacity applications. For the agricultural, equestrian, and outdoor work that is a major part of business life around Penkridge, we provide telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts suited to variable ground conditions. Tractor hire is also available, making Davison Forklift a practical all-round equipment partner for rural and mixed-use businesses in the area.

As authorised UK dealers for Clark and Ausa, we sell new and used forklifts alongside our hire fleet. Our team can advise on the most cost-effective solution — whether short-term hire, long-term rental, lease, or outright purchase — based on your operational needs and how frequently you require the equipment.

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift servicing, planned maintenance contracts, and rapid-response breakdown support for all makes and models. Our engineers cover Penkridge and the wider Staffordshire and West Midlands region, carrying genuine spare parts for leading brands including Clark, Hyster, Linde, Doosan, and Lansing. Fast, effective repairs and minimal downtime are what we’re built around.

We carry out LOLER inspections and thorough examinations of lifting equipment to keep your fleet compliant with current UK safety regulations. Flexible finance options — including lease purchase and lease rental — are available for businesses looking to invest in equipment without a significant upfront cost.
