Need to hire specialist forklift machinery at Parkside, Telford?

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift hire, forklift sales, and materials handling solutions to businesses at Parkside and across the Telford area. Our depot in Shifnal, East Shropshire is just 6 miles from Parkside, making us one of the closest and most responsive forklift hire providers to this part of Telford. With over 45 years of experience serving businesses across Shropshire and the wider region, we’re a trusted local name — and our proximity means we can get the right equipment to your site quickly, often with next-day or faster delivery.

Parkside sits within Telford’s well-established network of industrial and commercial estates, which together form one of the most active business environments in the West Midlands. The broader area supports a wide range of industries including manufacturing, engineering, logistics, distribution, and construction — all with regular and varied materials handling requirements. Whether you need a compact electric forklift for warehouse operations, a high-capacity diesel machine for heavy production work, or a telehandler for a development or civils project, Davison Forklift Ltd has the fleet and the experience to match your needs precisely.

We offer a comprehensive range of forklift hire solutions including diesel, LPG (gas), and electric counterbalance forklifts. Every unit in our hire fleet is thoroughly maintained and safety-checked before dispatch from our Shifnal depot. Short-term and long-term hire arrangements are both available, and next-day delivery to Parkside is available on many units (subject to availability) — with turnaround often faster given how close we are.

Our hire fleet extends well beyond standard counterbalance forklifts. We supply reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, electric stackers, order pickers, side loaders, and heavy-duty machines for high-capacity applications. For construction, groundworks, and outdoor projects across the Telford area, we provide telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts. Agricultural machinery and tractor hire is also available for businesses operating beyond the estates.

As authorised UK dealers for Clark and Ausa, we sell new and used forklifts alongside our hire fleet. Whether you’re looking to grow your own fleet or replace ageing equipment, our sales team can guide you through the options and help you find the most cost-effective solution for your operation.

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift servicing, planned maintenance contracts, and rapid-response breakdown support for all makes and models. Being just minutes from Parkside means our engineers can reach you quickly when issues arise, keeping your downtime to an absolute minimum. We carry genuine spare parts for all leading brands including Clark, Hyster, Linde, Doosan, and Lansing, and cover the full Telford area and surrounding region.

We carry out LOLER inspections and thorough examinations of lifting equipment to keep your fleet legally compliant and your workplace safe. Flexible finance options — including lease purchase and lease rental — are also available for businesses looking to invest in equipment without committing to a large upfront payment.
