Need to hire specialist forklift machinery in Moss Pit?

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift hire, forklift sales, and materials handling solutions to businesses in Moss Pit and across the Stafford area. Based in Shifnal, East Shropshire — approximately 18 miles from Stafford — we deliver quality equipment and a dependable service backed by over 45 years of industry experience. We’re a well-established local business with the fleet, the engineers, and the regional knowledge to support your operations quickly and without unnecessary complication.

Moss Pit is a residential and light commercial area on the eastern side of Stafford, close to the town’s main business and retail zones and within easy reach of the broader Staffordshire business community. Stafford itself is a busy county town with a diverse commercial base, including logistics operations, manufacturing businesses, construction contractors, and trade companies operating across multiple industrial and business parks. The surrounding area also transitions quickly into agricultural and rural land, with farms and rural enterprises across the Staffordshire countryside that regularly need handling equipment. Davison Forklift Ltd serves this full mix — from warehouse forklifts for urban commercial premises to telehandlers and rough terrain machines for outdoor and agricultural work.

We offer a comprehensive range of forklift hire solutions including diesel, LPG (gas), and electric counterbalance forklifts. Whether you need a machine for a single day or a longer hire arrangement, every unit in our fleet is thoroughly maintained and safety-checked before dispatch from our Shifnal depot. Next-day delivery to Moss Pit and Stafford is available on many hire units (subject to availability), so you can get the equipment you need on site without unnecessary delay.

Our hire fleet extends well beyond standard counterbalance forklifts. We supply reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, electric stackers, order pickers, side loaders, and heavy-duty machines for high-capacity applications. For construction, groundworks, and agricultural use, we provide telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts. Tractor hire is also available, making Davison Forklift a practical all-round equipment partner for businesses across the Stafford area, whether you’re operating from a town centre unit, a business park, or a rural site.

As authorised UK dealers for Clark and Ausa, we sell new and used forklifts alongside our hire fleet. Our team can advise on whether short-term hire, long-term rental, or outright purchase makes the most sense for your business based on how regularly you need the equipment and what your budget allows.

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift servicing, planned maintenance contracts, and rapid-response breakdown support for all makes and models. Our engineers cover Moss Pit, Stafford, and the wider Staffordshire and Shropshire region, carrying genuine spare parts for leading brands including Clark, Hyster, Linde, Doosan, and Lansing. We focus on fast, effective repairs that keep your downtime to an absolute minimum.

We carry out LOLER inspections and thorough examinations of lifting equipment to keep your fleet compliant with current UK health and safety legislation. Flexible finance options — including lease purchase and lease rental — are available for businesses looking to invest in equipment without a large upfront commitment.
