Need to hire specialist forklift machinery near Littleworth?

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift hire, forklift sales, and materials handling solutions to businesses in Littleworth and the surrounding Staffordshire area. Based in Shifnal, East Shropshire — approximately 25 miles from Littleworth — we deliver quality equipment and a dependable service backed by over 45 years of industry experience. Whether you’re running a construction project, a warehousing operation, or an agricultural business in this part of Staffordshire, we have the fleet and the expertise to support you reliably.

Littleworth sits on the eastern fringe of Cannock, one of Staffordshire’s most active industrial and logistics areas. The broader Cannock district is home to a significant concentration of distribution, manufacturing, and trade businesses, with major commercial parks and industrial estates along the A5 and M6 Toll corridors. Littleworth itself adjoins this activity while also sitting close to Cannock Chase, giving the area a distinct mix of industrial and rural character. Davison Forklift Ltd regularly serves businesses across this corridor — from large warehousing and logistics operations requiring counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks, to rural and outdoor businesses in need of telehandlers and rough terrain machinery.

We offer a comprehensive range of forklift hire solutions including diesel, LPG (gas), and electric counterbalance forklifts. Whether you need a machine for a day or a longer-term arrangement, every unit in our hire fleet is thoroughly maintained and safety-checked before dispatch from our Shifnal depot. Next-day delivery to Littleworth is available on many hire units (subject to availability), ensuring you can get the right equipment on site without unnecessary delay.

Our hire fleet extends well beyond standard counterbalance forklifts. We supply reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, electric stackers, order pickers, side loaders, and heavy-duty machines for high-capacity applications. For outdoor, construction, and agricultural work — particularly relevant given the proximity to Cannock Chase and the rural land surrounding the area — we provide telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts. Tractor hire is also available for businesses with agricultural or land management requirements.

As authorised UK dealers for Clark and Ausa, we sell new and used forklifts alongside our hire fleet. Our team can advise on the most cost-effective approach for your business — whether short-term hire, long-term rental, lease, or outright purchase — based on your operational requirements and budget.

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift servicing, planned maintenance contracts, and rapid-response breakdown support for all makes and models. Our engineers cover Littleworth, Cannock, and the wider Staffordshire region, carrying genuine spare parts for leading brands including Clark, Hyster, Linde, Doosan, and Lansing. We work to resolve issues quickly and keep your equipment running reliably with the minimum of downtime.

We carry out LOLER inspections and thorough examinations of lifting equipment to keep your fleet compliant with current UK safety regulations. Flexible finance options — including lease purchase and lease rental — are available for businesses looking to invest in equipment without committing to a large upfront payment.
