Need to hire specialist forklift machinery near Little Haywood?

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift hire, forklift sales, and materials handling solutions to businesses in Little Haywood and the surrounding Staffordshire area. Based in Shifnal, East Shropshire — approximately 22 miles from Little Haywood — we deliver quality equipment and a dependable service backed by over 45 years of industry experience. We’re a well-established, locally rooted business with genuine knowledge of the industries and operations across this part of Staffordshire, and we’re close enough to respond quickly when you need equipment at short notice.

Little Haywood is a quiet village in the Trent Valley, sitting just east of Great Haywood between Stafford and Rugeley, close to the boundary of Cannock Chase. The surrounding area blends agricultural and rural land with the growing commercial activity of the nearby A51 corridor, and is within easy reach of Stafford, Rugeley, and the broader Staffordshire business community. Farming and equestrian businesses, groundworks and construction contractors, and rural estate operations are all active in the area — all of which Davison Forklift Ltd regularly supports with a range of hire equipment suited to outdoor and variable terrain environments.

We offer a comprehensive range of forklift hire solutions including diesel, LPG (gas), and electric counterbalance forklifts. Whether you need a machine for a single day or a more extended hire period, every unit in our fleet is thoroughly maintained and safety-checked before dispatch from our Shifnal depot. Next-day delivery to Little Haywood is available on many hire units (subject to availability), so you won’t be left waiting when time is short.

Our hire fleet extends well beyond standard counterbalance forklifts. We supply reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, electric stackers, order pickers, side loaders, and heavy-duty machines for high-capacity applications. For the agricultural, construction, and outdoor work that characterises much of the business activity around Little Haywood, we provide telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts well suited to variable and challenging ground conditions. Tractor hire is also available, making Davison Forklift a practical all-round equipment partner for rural businesses in the Trent Valley area.

As authorised UK dealers for Clark and Ausa, we sell new and used forklifts alongside our hire fleet. Our team can advise on the most cost-effective solution for your business — whether that’s short-term hire, long-term rental, or outright purchase — based on your usage patterns and budget.

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift servicing, planned maintenance contracts, and rapid-response breakdown support for all makes and models. Our engineers cover Little Haywood and the wider Staffordshire and Shropshire region, carrying genuine spare parts for leading brands including Clark, Hyster, Linde, Doosan, and Lansing. We prioritise fast, effective repairs to keep your operations running with the minimum of disruption.

We carry out LOLER inspections and thorough examinations of lifting equipment to keep your fleet compliant with current UK safety regulations. Flexible finance options — including lease purchase and lease rental — are available for businesses looking to invest in equipment without a significant upfront cost.
