Need to hire specialist forklift machinery near Haughton?

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift hire, forklift sales, and materials handling solutions to businesses in Haughton and the surrounding Staffordshire area. Based in Shifnal, East Shropshire — approximately 16 miles from Haughton — we deliver quality equipment and a dependable service backed by over 45 years of industry experience. We’re a well-established local business with the fleet, the engineers, and the local knowledge to support operations across this part of Staffordshire quickly and reliably.

Haughton is a rural village in mid-Staffordshire, situated between Stafford and Newport close to the Shropshire border. The surrounding area is predominantly agricultural, with farms, equestrian businesses, and rural estates making up much of the local commercial activity. There is also a range of light trade and construction businesses operating in the villages and along the road corridors connecting Haughton to Stafford, Gnosall, and Newport. Davison Forklift Ltd regularly supports this mix of rural and semi-rural businesses, offering everything from telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts suited to outdoor and agricultural environments to warehouse-based electric handling equipment for smaller commercial premises.

We offer a comprehensive range of forklift hire solutions including diesel, LPG (gas), and electric counterbalance forklifts. Whether you need a machine for a single day or a longer hire period, every unit in our fleet is thoroughly maintained and safety-checked before dispatch from our Shifnal depot. Next-day delivery to Haughton is available on many hire units (subject to availability), so you won’t be waiting long when you need equipment at short notice.

Our hire fleet extends well beyond standard counterbalance forklifts. We supply reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, electric stackers, order pickers, side loaders, and heavy-duty machines for high-capacity work. For the agricultural, groundworks, and construction activity common in this part of Staffordshire, we provide telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts capable of handling variable ground conditions with ease. Tractor hire is available too, making Davison Forklift a practical all-round machinery partner for rural businesses in the area.

As authorised UK dealers for Clark and Ausa, we sell new and used forklifts alongside our hire fleet. Our team can advise on whether short-term hire, long-term rental, or outright purchase makes the most financial sense for your business, based on how regularly you need the equipment and what your budget allows.

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift servicing, planned maintenance contracts, and rapid-response breakdown support for all makes and models. Our engineers cover Haughton and the wider Staffordshire and Shropshire region, carrying genuine spare parts for leading brands including Clark, Hyster, Linde, Doosan, and Lansing. We focus on fast, effective repairs that keep your operations running with minimal interruption.

We carry out LOLER inspections and thorough examinations of lifting equipment at sites across the region to keep your fleet legally compliant and your workplace safe. Flexible finance options — including lease purchase and lease rental — are also available for businesses looking to invest in equipment without the burden of a large upfront payment.
