Need to hire specialist forklift machinery near Gnosall?

Davison Forklift Ltd provides forklift hire, forklift sales, and materials handling solutions to businesses in Gnosall and the surrounding Staffordshire countryside. Based in Shifnal, East Shropshire — approximately 15 miles from Gnosall — we offer fast, reliable equipment delivery backed by over 45 years of industry experience. Whether you’re a local agricultural business, a construction contractor, or a trade operation, we’re close enough to respond quickly and experienced enough to get you exactly the right machine.

Gnosall is a large Staffordshire village situated between Stafford and Newport, in an area that blends rural and semi-rural business activity with good road links towards the M6 and A5 corridors. The surrounding area supports a strong agricultural sector alongside construction, groundworks, and landscaping businesses, as well as light trade and commercial operations. Davison Forklift Ltd is well placed to serve this mix, offering everything from compact electric warehouse forklifts to heavy-duty telehandlers suited to outdoor and agricultural environments.

We offer a comprehensive range of forklift hire solutions including diesel, LPG (gas), and electric counterbalance forklifts. Whether you need equipment for a day, a week, or a longer period, our hire fleet is thoroughly maintained and safety-checked before every deployment. Next-day delivery to Gnosall is available on many hire units (subject to availability), keeping disruption to your operations to a minimum.

Our hire fleet extends well beyond standard counterbalance forklifts. We supply reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, electric stackers, order pickers, side loaders, and heavy-duty machines for high-capacity applications. For construction, agricultural, and outdoor work — the mainstay of many businesses in this part of Staffordshire — we provide telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts. Tractor hire is also available, making Davison Forklift a practical one-stop solution for rural and mixed-use businesses in the area.

As authorised UK dealers for Clark and Ausa, we sell new and used forklifts alongside our hire fleet. Our team can advise on the most cost-effective approach — whether short-term hire, long-term rental, or purchase — based on your requirements and how frequently you need the equipment.

Davison Forklift Ltd also provides forklift servicing, planned maintenance contracts, and rapid-response breakdown support for all makes and models. Our engineers cover Gnosall and the wider Staffordshire and Shropshire region, carrying genuine spare parts for leading brands including Clark, Hyster, Linde, Doosan, and Lansing. We aim to resolve issues quickly and keep your equipment running reliably day to day.

We carry out LOLER inspections and thorough examinations of lifting equipment to keep your fleet compliant with current UK safety regulations. Flexible finance options — including lease purchase and lease rental — are available for businesses looking to invest in equipment without a significant upfront cost.
